Sara LaRose Wood is a Licensed Professional counselor, research consultant, and supervisor in the commonwealth of Virginia. She has her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University as well as an MA in Counseling and a BS in Psychology. As a counselor, she has a wide range of clinical experiences, including working in psychiatric settings, serving with the juvenile justice system, running groups for a local senior center, creating a church-based practice serving both the congregation and community with mental health resources and referrals, and currently maintaining her own private practice. She specializes in working with grief and loss, spouses of sexual addicts, codpendency/healthy relationship concerns, and pre-marital/marital therapy.
